How do I configure call forwarding?

You can forward your incoming calls to another extension in your business, or to any US based number.

On the magicJack for BUSINESS self-care portal:

  1. Login to your magicJack for BUSINESS self-care portal at account.magicjackforbusines.com
  2. If you are Admin, navigate to Manage Lines and click SETTINGS on the desired phone number or extension.
  3. If you are User, the settings screen will be visible immediately after your log in.
  4. Under the incoming call section, select Forward all calls
  5. Type a ten digits US number to forward calls to target outside your organization, or type a 3 digit extension number to forward calls there.

On a magicJack for BUSINESS Yealink desk-phone:

  1. Press the Menu softkey while not on a call.
  2. Navigate to Features, then Call Forward.
  3. Select the desired forward type:
    • Always Forward: Incoming calls are forwarded unconditionally.
    • Busy Forward: Incoming calls are forwarded if the phone is busy.
    • No Answer Forward: Incoming calls are forwarded if not answered after a period of time.
  4. Enter the number to which you would like to forward calls. For the No Answer Forward option, press the < or > buttons to select the ring time to wait before forwarding the call.
  5. Press the Save softkey.
