Yealink Desk Phone Caller Authentication Messages

Modified on Sun, 14 Jul at 10:09 PM

magicJack for Business is taking additional steps to identify and notify customers when robocalls or spam calls are coming into their business lines.   We have provided options including block call lists and automated call screening.

The next step in the battle against robocalls, spam calls and malicious Caller ID spoofing will be on your Yealink Desk Phones (not available for the mobile app or desktop app)

We are rolling out a robust call authentication system that will notify customers that are receiving calls from outside carriers this information:

  • [Verified] indicating the authentication information received from the originating carrier passed verification.
  • [Scam Likely] indicating the authentication information received from the originating carrier failed verification.

Currently only a few other carriers are participating in this program and providing this information, however, the FCC will be requiring all carriers to support this in the coming years.

magicJack for Business wants to ensure our customers have the most current robocall / spam call features available.  Should you experience any issues with this contact our Customer Care Team.
